I second the FG. I tie it at home, leave the leader a little longer and I've never had to retie. I go a little overboard with the wraps to make super sure it's bullet-proof. I caught a 30+ pound jack crevalle from the beach in Bermuda this past September and I had to lock down the drag on my Slammer III 6500 to prevent it from going into the reef and then a group of swimmers. It was 50-lb. braid and 30-lb. fluoro.
