Great fish. Watched the video, obviously electronics are huge for this style. Can u tell me what u r using and how it's set up. Thanks.

I will be going to Roundout in ny. Currently using a hummin bird 400tx portable, it's old but works. Caught lots of lakers on bait there, all set up to jig up some pigs soon.

i've tried a few different things and i've been consistently getting some bigger fish past two seasons but haven't gotten that real pig yet (wondering how many are actually left in there or if i should start experimenting again)

anyway, i'm using a helix 7 but none of the special features. I just turn up the imaging settings (sensitivity, max mode, etc.) until i can see my jig under the boat in the depth of water i'm fishing anywhere from 30 to 100 ft.

I'll bounce around to spots i have marked as way points or follow the contour map on humps, points, drop offs, etc. when i mark a fish i stop on it and drop directly down almost like jigging through a hole in the ice with a flasher. if i can see my jig and the fish mark, then i can see how the fish reacts and respond accordingly.
