Left the dock yest. around 930 with Scott , Dom, and Rich and headed off to the bluefin grounds. First stop we had some great marks and decided to set up shop on the chunk. Had the lines in for around an hour without a sniff and a buddy of mine had a couple nice fish over at the hot spot. Since we had a late start and could only fish till 5 we picked up made a run over to see if we pick a fish. Got over to the group of boats and set lines back out and threw some chicken on the grill. Said we would give it till the chicken was done and if we didnt get a bite we would go looking again. 330 still nothing so we picked up and ran back to the first area we hit knowing we had much better readings. When we arrived back on scene we had nothing under boat so kept pushing east. Finally had a few nice marks and put the boat on the drift right away. 5 min later we were hooked up to our first fish of the day a really nice yellowfin. For the next hour we had one more hit the box, another pull a hook, broke one off and one brown shark. Wish i stayed put all day might have be a banner day on the inshore grounds.
