6/22 am bassin
got a chance to fish with my buddy mike this am...very rare that it is just the two of us on the boat, usually we have 2 more guys with us. Let the dock at the _ _ _ crack of the morning. Got to where we had them yesterday. Started fishing a good pod to ourselves and thought it was gonna be crazy but thanks to everyone who rushed in to the pod from nowhere, it shut down pretty quick. Smaller pods today and the fish werent as cooperative as yesterday. All in all we managed 8 fish to 40lbs. The pic of me with the 40 doesnt do the fish justice, but my hands are all torn up from lipping bass the last couple of days, and i couldnt hold onto her.
