Default Savage Shrimp

Picked up a couple packs of these. About 4 or 5 inch. Was thinking of using them as the top hook on a bucktail combo for Fluke.
They look incredibly life-like. Any one try these?

I got some. I tried them down in LBI this past weeks and didnt have any luck. I did talk to one of the guys down there while fishing at the condos and he said they work great in the back bay. So idk. They are so real looking and action is intense.

Up top on a teaser, the 3" & 4" new penny shrimp have taken some ferocious hits in Raritan Bay.
Mostly shorts, a couple keepers. Perhaps like Jeff, I had no hits outside.
Maybe wrong place wrong time for me. Do they bite on gulp shrimp in the ocean?? I'll try them again.
Tight lines.

Just as with the GULP shrimps, they work great in the bay's and rivers where there is forge base of grass/mantis shrimp.

Since you rarely find mantis shrimp in the ocean I would expect them to be productive there-just as the GULP shrimp hasn't been in my experience.

I've taken a lot of fluke over the years using the DOA shrimp in the bay's.

Makes sense.... Cleaned a lot of bay and river Fluke over the years with Mantis Shrimp in them. That's not the case with ocean Fluke.

I heard the new penny gulp shrimp have been producing well on the top hook in the back bays. Usually when theres not a bunch of bait around those work ok. I have used them on seabass and ling with great success too.
