Default Wading Boot Fit

Hey guys,

I just got my wading boots in the mail. They seem a little big, but I haven't tried them on with my waders. Are the waders thick? I am getting them tomorrow, but am a little concerned that they might be too big. I haven't had stockingfoot waders yet, and I don't know how much room they will ACTUALLY take up in the actual boot. Any insight you can provide will be helpful. Thank you!!

Here are the boots (Went with lug sole, not felt sole to prevent invasives):

Here are the waders:

Thanks again for your valued input!

I totally think I posted this in the wrong section.. perhaps under equipment reviews? Tips somewhat makes sense, but not really. If you want to move this, works for me - thanks!

I just went thru this . I purchased my first stocking foot wader/boots. From reviews of other buyers of the boots I bought anglers said to go "wide( EE) and 1 size bigger". I wear a 10 D and ordered an 11 EE. When I tried mine on I found this to absolutely "right on". I have not been out yet on the water with them but had them on for about half an hour or so to get the feel of them. Hope this helps

I actually got the whole setup and I'm really really happy with what I got. I heard that the boots I got run big, so I went with my size and they are awesome. Plenty of booty room (hahaha, I mean my feet you grumpy old men) but the waders a little baggy. Looks like they belong on Lil Wayne instead of me... haha

Well - I'm super pumped and thanks for the answers. Hopefully they help me get a little closer to the bunker pods!! YEAH BUDDY!!!! FISHING ALL WEEKEND!!!

you should be fine, you want to wear a wool sock or fleece 1 inside your booties, 1 thing i have found most of these waders are made overseas ...and god knows how they come with their measurements...i think something is loss in the translation from chinese to the english language....not kidding its more trial and error...you dont want them the boots or the waders fitting like a divers wet suit, you need room, but too much room like bagginess is just as bad there will be chaffing in the sagging areas...sometimes you need to try 1 on send it backif too tight and ...order next size
