Default Skunked

Went for trout today, south branch and musky. No fish for me. Water was high but clear. I could have tried a bit harder. Hit round valley from bank(waders). For about 15 minutes.also 0 fish. Quite a few guys out there the valley was kinda low. I think I will try again tomorrow from the boat, hopefully catching not just fishing

If you're only putting 15 mins in at the valley you should prob have basement dwelling expectations.

The valley was just on my way home, wasn’t actually part of the original spots. More just checking out the ramps Incase I wanted to try putting boat in.
I’ll try again tomorrow from boat elsewhere for bass

Where on the S branch, up by Flanders ? Where you on the Musky down near where it enters the Delaware river or near Waterloo -Trade Zone? When you say S branch and Musky, could narrow it down just a bit, thanx.

The big streams are still running higher than normal, you should familiarize yourself with the USGS streamflow gages. Quick look at the current flow and comparing it you the flow it normally runs at will give you plenty of info.

I was in long valley area for s branch and Stillwater for musky, both high but fishable. I probly didn’t work that hard at trying to get em.
Getting skunked still beats doing leaves
Trying again tomorrow, probly farrington lake for bass or Pike
