Default Re: Trolling Bones & Albies

deadly dicks on either planers or trolling weights.
clark spoons on trolling weights or planers.
small mylar jap feathers.

Start around 5-6kts and adjust slower and faster depending on what they are biting on. lots of short strikes, take it down a knot or 1/2 knot.

Go off the beach and look for birds, it is sept, they should be right up on the beach any day now with the bait coming out!

I 2nd the Clark Spoons. Small ones for sure.

Try one with a drail weight and one with out.

Like Ron said, 5 or 6 knots.

17 Fathoms would be a good place to start and run SE from there.
