Central Jersey report

Had to stock up on family provisions today and after hitting some stores in freeholdo, i stopped in at the Englishtown Mill pond (which trout stocking ended the previous week) to find an alternative place to take the kids .. only had 20 minutes, and caught an 8 inch crappie on the first cast but nothing else along the 75 yards ofopen shoreline to fish.

After dinner I trekked out to Etra lake with about 30 minutes of daylight. Caught a crappie slightly bigger than the one earlier in the day and a couple of blue gills about the same size. had a couple of rods out with cut bait for channels but only had one bite that swiped my bait.
