Mikey with the amount of eggs pouring out of the king, you may have had some browns or steelhead right at your feet. Beautiful king! Always blows me away how big and strong these fish are when they enter the rivers and how quickly they deteriorate. Nature's way I guess.

Eddie beautiful steelhead and congrats catching her on a fly rod, won't get one much more dime bright than that in the river.

Maybe not a slammer but that's a special fishery up there and you found fish so congrats to all!

Thumbs up Re: Salmon country with the boys...10/25-10/27

Really great photos and fish. The teeth on those damn things put Tog and Bluefish to shame ! Love when a plan comes together.

Dakota there were some fish moving through with all the eggs yes there should have been a lot but very few and far between.... Last week estuary was loaded with fish everyone thought they were another load of salmon buddy said they came in the river and it was all steelies, and EVERYTHING went out on a rope I was told.

mike had some hot and heavy steelhead action this past weekend, at least you know those were released! dont worry the people keeping everything are always the first to complain when the numbers dwindle

great report and it looks like we might have another fly fisherman on here now. i guess eddie will be getting a fly set up now for the next mad capped adventure with the boyz. that is how you make the best out of not so great weather. p.s love the mask it made those fish look meaner.
