Default Weekly wrapup

Did allot of fishing this week.
Monday fished Milton lake away from everyone and banged up a dozen brookies a few crappie some sunnies and a bass all on crappie jigs fished in blowdowns.Hit up farington lake on my lunch break, tossed baby crawlers unweighted around some timber and scratched out a decent bass, small perch and tons of gills.

Tuesday I bounced around the lower raritan tossing 3" curly grubs on a 1/4 jig and ended up with the skunk. While walking to the river along the canal I was carelessly throwing in to the drink when 35"-40" tiger musky snatched my jig,I had little to no chance of getting him with a lite stick and 6lb line.

Wednesday I had to run down to manahawkin to drop some papers of to Realtor on my newly purchased lagoon home.Stopped by the toms river to see what its all about.Picked up a handful of trout and 2 slimers and 2 ticks that I found later. Its a nice little stream with a tea like color and allot of deep holes and cover.

Thursday I switched to the brine and bagged 4 stripers from 20"-26" on snot missing twice that, conditions were perfect cloudy with a ne breeze but I had a out going tide and thats not the best incoming is key in the bay for me.

Nice variety of fish you caught. Would have been INSANE if you landed that muskie!!! Always when you least expect it right? Been working all week but got out a couple times after work, fish are def starting to turn on!!! Sooner or later we'll time it right.......
