Dale and I got schooled by Kelly. Aside from some light taps and nips, the guys on getanet 2 had to bow down to the hybrid whisperer...

Good seeing you guys out there. I'm wind burnt and rosy cheeked. What's next? Eyes? Ice? Eyes thru the ice?! Eager for the next go 'round!

Well I had a very enjoyable day yesterday with the crew on Lake Hopatcong yesterday! The weather cooperated but unfortunetly the fish didn't. Was glad a few were caught as Kelly was the high hook yesterday on the GetANet and I think overall with the Hybrids! LOL Really happy to see a few new guys out there sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello but hope you had a good time and will come to the next! The bite was brutal the last two times I was there so I wasn't too optimistic as it seems like the Window of Opportunity has passed for the Hot Bite But one never knows! As for me I'm finished on the Big Lake for this year and next time I plan on being there is the next Ice Fishing Meet so until then TIGHT LINES!!!! Here's a couple of snaps for ya!!!!!

That was me and NickM221 in the rental. It was a lot of fun, even though I got outfished I had a perch and a cat, Nick had 2 perch, a cat and a 17.25 inch hybrid. Happy that we both beat the skunk, and it was awesome to get a hybrid on the boat between the two of us. Like Jigman said, there were a lot of taps from little ones that wouldn't commit to the hook and the perch we actually got a hook on were pretty nice size. It was great meeting some of you and seeing you all out there on the water. Thanks for doing this, otherwise I don't think I'd get out on the big pond at all. Sign me up for next year!

all we could get were panfish on jigging raps, drop shots, and bladebaits including some crappie. in hind site, trolling probably would've been the best bet i guess. well at least until the magical clown showed up......

the fish in general have been picky, hopefully some consistent fall weather will get things back in line!

Nice meeting some of the crew. The past 3 weeks have been very similar. Fish finder lit up like a Christmas tree but the fish have had lock jaw. Chrisper and I must have logged over 12 miles looking for active fish. Hopefully we get a stable weather pattern to change their mood.
