Default Wild browns and rainbows (Oct 6 and 7)

Fished both Sat and Sun for trout. All the rain meant high water in most spots. The fishing was good and I had mostly wild browns and a few rainbows. Had a few good fish in the mix, with two wild browns taping out to 20 inches, and one rainbow pushing the 20 inch mark.

The rainbows you catch are always great looking with those big bold pink stripes. Nice looking water too. high and clear

I am dying to catch some wild browns. The stream i used to catch them in seems to have changed, haven't even seen one there in over 3 years I'll have to find a new spot

Really nice fish, jigs or rapalas? High off color water is the best!

This should be a good year for holdover bows and wild fish. Lots of water and outside of a few weeks in July, mild temps.
