passaic carp 5/31
went 2 my spot at the river started of slow 3 perch 2 eel in 3 hrs of fishing around 10 all hell broke loose 4 the next 2hrs the carp went nuts i had 3 triple headers had my ultra light go in the drink after all was said n done total was 14 of 20 all around 8lbs 1 was 18 these fish r spawning n i beat them up 2day they do feed when spawning berrys will start in 3wks i cheaked my tree.

That is the way you want them to be....in the eating mood.....sweet yellow corn meal done right is their favorite...do you fish them to EAT or throw back into the water???

Agreed. Have only caught a few of these on rod-n-reel but have put more that I could carry in the back of my truck bowfishing...mainly in TN in my younger years. Knew an ole guy that loved to eat them also so I didn't feel bad getting dinner for someone else! I have seen some MONSTERS in Spruce Run and carry my bow when the lake is down in the late summer just in case.
