Question Echo Lake in Union County?

Hitting it up tonight after work, first time this season. Anyone got any reports on how the action is? Are the fish hitting on anything specific?

Talk to CatfishOnTheLake or check his blogs at http://www.catfishonthelake.com/. He fishes there fairly regularly, as well as the other small lakes and ponds in Union County. I'm sure he'll probably chime in.

It gets stocked again tomorrow......Wednesday. You might give Seeley's Pond a try before the water temps get too hot and the fish die. It's smaller than Echo Lake and they put in big breeders.

Thanks for the plug Rob.

There's two Echo Lakes actually, Lower and Upper. Lower Echo Lake gets the trout and yes, the water quality usually sux. I've been trout fishing there a bunch of times but the trout hate me. I have caught millions of tiny-ass bullheads there though. Upper Echo Lake is just up the park road. It has no trout, but the bass fishing is decent. A lot of them are small, but there are bigger ones in there. I've rented the paddle boats and banged close to 20 bass off the far shoreline in a couple hours.
