Default Tide Fishing

Anyone have experience fishing for stripers using tide. Do stripers bite more with moving tide than slack? I was wondering if fishing 1 or 2 hours after low or high until next change was better than slack sometime during the trip.
thanks

Default Re: Tide Fishing

If you are fishing from a boat you want to fish a moving tide and it should preferably be running in the same direction of the wind.

Go further down in this forum and you will see a post about the effects of wind and tide.
