Default Popping Jersey Tuna

Are trip to Cape Cod was canceled, so we went to plan B...Rich and i got the invite from Tom to go on his beautiful 36'Yelowfin out of Blemar to search for BFT. We arrived at are spot and started marking..soon after, Rich got tight on a very nice fish but lost it....F#$k, this would happen two times Use bigger hook's...lol

Late afternoon we came inshore a few miles and the Gannets were going crazy, and tuna feeding hard and blitzing all over the place...Tom did a great job getting us up wind on a feeding pod, i got tight on a nice fish but soon lost him...we chased several pod's of tuna and finally found the right pod and Rich got tight and finished the job with a fat 100lb fish.

Thank you Tom for the invite, i had a great time.

There are lots of tuna still out there, as we saw tuna's jumping and feeding for mile's.

Some gear used.

Popping Rods
Temple Reef BD1OO,BD200SH...

Stickbaits
Daiwa Dorado Slider...very deadly lure
Shimano Ocea Pencil

Rich, with a fat BFT, this fish feel for a Dorado Slider Stickbait!

BD100.Popping Rod,Stella 10000...Dorado Slider Stickbait
