Finally getting out again after a while. Any reports from inshore days that have not been posted lately? I would really like a few triggers for dinner.

I was out on Friday, nice day on the water and good fishing too. The trip started in shallow water for c bass, lots of triggers were caught, in fact the pool was won by a Trigger. Not as many c bass as I hoped, but lots of fun. Then we went to deeper water and had a decent catch of Ling. Most of the boat had fish, like always some more than others, all were happy with the catch. I was astonished with the variety of species; Black Sea Bass, Fluke, Weak Fish (10" released), Triggers, Puffer (big fish maybe 20"), Black fish, Porgy, Sea Robins, Winter Flounder (released), Conger (Oh No!!!!), Bergal, Silver Eel and Ling. Missing were Cod and Dogs (not missed).

Cool glad to hear the triggers are still about. Have to tie up some 1/0 hooks.

Glad to hear your finally getting out again. I'm going tomorrow not sure where but I'm going. I'm sick of the Fluke fishing too many lost bucktails & not enough fish to show for it. I heard of a headboat from Brooklyn that chums for the triggers & crush's them.

Yes they are doing well, but have no desire to go to Brooklyn and pay $20 tolls and get stuck in traffic.

Doing a deep water mud hole trip on the tagged fish. Always a good time.

Good luck, over the last year, I've had more than enough ling. Though always nice to round out the day.

More than just ling. Usually some seabass cod and shark ad well

No cod today. Too many ling to count. Tog- Thresher-and a few spike whiting.
