Pollack and Cod Saturday 5.12.12

Took advantage of the beautiful weather Saturday and decided to run off shore to scout some wrecks for cod and pollack. We ended up with less cod this trip putting four in the boat but my son Ryan managed to land 4 beautiful pollack. Al fish were caught jigging, nothing on bait, and the pollack were caught very high in the water column. Fish were in the 25 to 30lb. range and where the trip lacked a little in quantity it more than made up for with the quality of the pollack we caught....or should I say Ryan caught. The cod were all between 5 and 10 lbs but as I said the pollack you can see for yourself were all quality fish.

Again, nothing like being out with your son and a very good friend and finding the fish.
