Default Jamaica II Thursday Deepwater

Went out again with a decent crowd. Fishing was relatively steady with nice sized ling and a few more cod. Not many dogs but the perch were fierce. I wound up with 2 small keeper cod, 24 ling, 2 throwback 15" sea bass and a 4lb sea raven. Pool was another slightly larger keeper cod. I'd say at least 15 keeper cod, maybe 20, around the same amount of throwback keeper sized sea bass, some mackerel and herring and one keeper sized throwback striper. I know that board member Phil had around 50 ling using conger strips for bait to get thru the bergalls, so tough strip baits are a good option when the dogs are light, but may hamper your cod catch.
