the millstone river is good again. i found a new spot where i got 3 channels, a white cat, and a few more baby channels. also got a 6" live eel and used it for the big ones. 5 minutes after the cast i got a tug on the line and went to set the hook but pulled the eel right out of its mouth. better luck next time.

I saw a dead carp and 2 sick and dying carp in the Millstone recently.

Yesterday I saw 3 dead carp floating in the Millstone.I think that a carp specific virus is killing them.

Call........... e mail........... do what you have to. I sent an e mail to the biologists about your findings. We have a bunch of REALLY good people working at F&G, don't be shy.

I have been going back and forth about lake trout with the State, they listen and reply to my e mails.

Found a dead carp tonight in a reservoir in Bergen county. I wonder if this is related to the problem.

when i was fishing that day there were plenty of carp jumping across the bank where i was fishing. there are still healthy ones left.
