Default sunglasses

what kinds of polarized sunglasses does everyone use?

i usually bought cheaper pairs so i don't mind if they go overboard, but was considering going upmarket a bit this next time around (but not more than say, a hundred bucks, because they will go overboard someday). style really doesn't matter, i only care about performance. suggestions?

for 100 dollars maybe some used costas or maui jims, which my wife just got. and let me say that in the store the mauis were nicer then the costas. im like you though. i fear breaking and beating them up so i went with a pair of native bombers. comfy all day with interchangable lenses for around 100 bills.

Costa Fathoms with the 580 lens is my choice. Had the Maui jims for years but like the costas much better.

Costa 580's are awesome glasses but don't break a lens. They only replace them in pairs and it will set you back minimum of $100.00 plus shipping. I know this because I broke one a year ago that I have yet to get fixed.
