We are rolling out the newest models, in 7' & 6'8" sizes, that are the same thing for inshore fishing such as striped bass. These newest rods are great for jigging & trolling, as well as feeding chunks or live lining bunker. ( bunker spoon rods are a specialty rod, but these rods are pretty dam close on the action for trolling spoons too. ) This is just a suggestion, because it sounds like your buying tackle for the boat, so something like this may save you money don the road, with needing less rods to do all of your fishing. As far as general tackle, look to get some Krocodiles, Ava Jigs, rubber shads, snag rigs for the live bunker, Stretch 25 lures, spoons and similar tackle.
Reels..... your going to want to be in that 3/0 size for bass.
