Outboard Engine Course

Been eyeing this course for a year or 2.

http://cnj.craigslist.org/boa/950912003.html

Seriously considering taking it to learn more about maintaining and troubleshooting my engine.

Anyone else familiar with or interested in taking?

My boat is in storage for winter, so have to see what the deal is since it is a hands on course.

Mboy,
Take that course and let me know what I should do with my plugs....:D
kidding, sounds great but I am in Union County, the price gets pretty steap with out of county residences.

That appears to be the same course.

I work in Somerset Cty (live no where near it), so I think I qualify for the reduced price.

Ralph, did he bring his own boat or engine?

HE told me no the teacher would rip down an outboared and go over it with the class and he was given alot of hand outs and diograms.TONIGHT is his last class he bought an old 9.9 outboared that didnt run after these classes he has rebuilt and repaired what was wrong trouble shooting it himself and it runs like new all to these classes.

you can never have enough knowledge.....might save your butt one day. Besides look at all the $ you'll save replacing your own water pump and Thermastat every other year;)

NIOce.

Yes, it will def save about $350 every other year replacing the water pump. That's for sure (if I can do on my own).

T-Stats were easy. Even for someone with zero mechanical skills such as myself :)
