Aeroflex and Waywayanda with motors?

If you have a gas motor, do they allow you to fish with it on Aeroflex and/or Wawayanda as long as the motor is out of the water?

Ive seen that a bunch of times on both swartswoods and no one has said anything. Im guessing its the same thing for aeroflex and yanda.

I can speak for aeroflex...yes you can. The boats always have the outboard raised up.

I've fished with guys with bass boats at get-togethers at Waywayanda and there was never a problem.

Been on Wayway a few times with my outboard in the water. Rangers were right there and never said anything. Sometimes I use my outboard tiller as a rudder to steer the boat from the back with the bow mount TM in forward.

i also use my outboard as a rudder when i fish the electric only/restricted hp lakes. really helps keep the back of the boat on track if it's windy and you're using a bow mount TM, even if the TM is doing the steering. never have had an issue with COs about it.

also it's nice to know that you've got the outboard in case the weather changes quickly. thankfully i've never had to bend the rules myself for that, but have heard about guys being told by COs/sheriff to use the main motor to get off of RVR in a hurry etc.
