Big Jamaica - Very Good Striped Bass Fishing Today
 

Striped bass fishing was very good today. We had a decent pick early in the morning catching a number of keepers and shorts along with a couple of bluefish. Later in the day the stripes schooled up and were thick under the boat and feeding on the surface. Many passengers caught their limit and caught a bonus fish.

It was a tie for the pool with two 25LB Striped Bass:
Joey D & Steve Tkacs from Robbinsville NJ won the pool.

We caught the Bass on many types of jigs today however, Gold crocs and gold jigs were hot.
It looks good for the weekend. The weather report is good and there are loads of striped bass in the area.

The big Jamaica will sail at 7:30AM on Saturday & Sunday.
We are scheduled to sail every day this week sailing 7:30AM Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and 6:30AM Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
