I like to get some other members thoughts on using a bucktail with a Coast Lock or Snap Swivel on the end of your leader that is connected to the main line. I always say I'm going to try it by shy away and err on the side of less hardware is better. Any thought about using a swivel to connect your bucktail would be great.

Just quicker to swap bucktails when needing to change weight.

I tie mine on.. I dont even use a swivel.. Just tie my bucktail rig and make it a little longer then tie that to my braid..

I use a quick clip for the heavier jig, I dont see any problems with it. It does make it a lil easier to swap jigs in my opinion, and since 90% of the fish hit the top teaser anyway, I dont feel its much of an issue.
....but then again saltlife did put more in the box today than I did! Whos that guy that snuck into the pulpit?

Thanks guys. I just wanted some feed back. I'll probably continue to tie right onto the line. Fan of less hardware.

6oz or higher.......I always use a swivel and I do not see a difference. That's just me, for what its worth.
